Lately, I’ve been putting a huge amount of time into creating, experimenting, and pushing myself creatively through music. Over the past several months, I’ve been focused on writing, producing, and publishing new tracks while continuing to develop the sound and direction behind JETTHETANK Music Group.

A lot of my recent work has been centered around blending storytelling, cinematic themes, EDM energy, gaming culture, and emotional atmosphere into music that feels unique and memorable. I’ve also been exploring new creative workflows using modern production tools and AI-assisted technologies to help bring ideas to life faster and in new ways.

Beyond the music itself, I’ve been working hard on growing the community around the project — publishing more consistently, improving branding, creating content, and finding better ways to connect with listeners across platforms. Building something meaningful takes time, but every new song, post, and project helps move things forward.

This is still just the beginning. More music, more experiments, more collaborations, and more late nights creating are on the way.

Life has a way of slowing you down whether you want it to or not. Over the past couple of weeks, I got hit pretty hard with the flu and it knocked me off my routine. I had to step back, rest, and just focus on getting better. While I was down, though, something interesting happened. My mind didn’t stop working—it just shifted. Ideas started coming together, and what began as a simple thought turned into something much bigger. That’s where Welcome to the Tiptoe Inn came from.

What started as one song grew into a full concept, a story told through music that takes place inside this late-night blues club. It’s a place where people come in as strangers and leave feeling connected, where music carries emotion in a way words sometimes can’t, and where for a little while, the outside world doesn’t matter as much. Each track captures a different moment of that experience—walking in, feeling something real, working through heartbreak, finding yourself again, and ending the night with something that stays with you even after you leave.

I didn’t plan on building an album while recovering, but being forced to slow down gave me the space to create in a different way. There was less pressure and more feeling behind it, and it reminded me why I enjoy doing this in the first place. Right now I’m still getting back to 100%, but I’m in a good place and the momentum is there. The Tiptoe Inn project is moving forward, and I’m excited to keep building it out, sharing the music, the visuals, and the story behind it. Sometimes getting knocked down gives you the chance to create something meaningful, and for me, that turned into this project.

Over the past few months, I’ve been doing exactly what I love most—creating music in real time, with real people, and real stories behind every song.

Through my TikTok lives and studio sessions, I’ve been writing, producing, and releasing new music across multiple styles—from smooth R&B and heartfelt country, to high-energy EDM, hip-hop, and my own Praisewave sound that blends worship and modern electronic production.

What makes this season special isn’t just the music that’s been released.
It’s how the music is being made.

So many of the songs that have come out recently were created live—with listeners in the room, ideas coming from the chat, stories being shared, and lyrics being shaped in real time. That connection has completely changed how I create. It’s no longer just me in a studio. It’s a community building something together.

Every day I sit down to write, I’m learning something new about myself. This journey into music, storytelling, and putting myself out there hasn’t been easy but it’s been real. For years I kept so much locked away, either because life demanded it, or because I didn’t think anyone needed to hear it. But stepping onto platforms like TikTok, sharing lyrics and moments that hit close to home, has pushed me way outside my comfort zone.

And honestly? It’s been good for me.

I’m finally finding my zone, my cadence, my voice, my truth. Each new track I write feels like another layer peeled back, another step toward healing old wounds I tucked away during the hardest parts of my life. Music lets me say things I never gave myself permission to say out loud.

Lived the Hurt is my journey through breaking the cycle of alcoholism, honoring the two men who raised me, and choosing to be the dad I needed growing up. It’s emotional, personal, and one of the most meaningful songs I’ve ever written.

A track about honesty, clarity, and the moments where life forces you to see yourself for who you truly are. Emotional and open-hearted, this one digs into the truths we carry but don’t always say out loud.

A song about finding stability when the world feels like it’s fallen apart. It’s about resilience, about holding on, and about the people who steady us when storms hit hardest.

🎖️ Carrying Their Names – Single

A tribute to our veterans and to those who never came home. This one was deeply personal to write, honoring my cousin-in-law who was KIA in Afghanistan. It’s a reminder to always speak their names and carry their stories forward.

Who I Am as a Songwriter — A Personal Note

I’ve written more than two hundred songs now—across EDM, country, rap, folk, and everything in between. Every track has its own style, its own mood, its own purpose. But when I look at all of them together, one thing becomes clear:

I’m not defined by a genre.
I’m defined by the life I’ve lived and the stories I carry.

My music comes from the places that shaped me—growing up in a broken home, learning to survive young, finding my way in the Army, serving through years of deployments, holding tight to my wife, and raising two sons I’m proud of every day. I’ve lived through loss, pressure, love, responsibility, and the weight of memory. Those truths show up in everything I write, no matter the beat behind it.

If there’s one song that captures me best, it’s Carrying Their Names. That track holds every part of my journey—my service, my respect for the fallen, the cost of war, and the quiet responsibility that stays long after the uniform comes off. It isn’t just a song. It’s the clearest version of who I am and what I stand for.

As a whole, my writing leans toward modern Americana—raw, straightforward storytelling shaped by real life. Even when I jump into EDM drops, West Coast vibes, or country rhythms, I always end up writing from the same place: honesty, experience, and the instinct to tell the truth the way I lived it.

I’m still learning, still creating, and still pushing myself to be better with every track. This journey isn’t about fame or going viral. It’s about leaving something behind that’s real—something my family can hold on to, and something other veterans or everyday people can connect with.

Today marks another step forward in this incredible journey. I’m excited to share that I have two new singles currently in production — Truth Behind My Eyes and Anchor Through the Aftermath. Both songs come from deep, personal places and continue the story I’ve been building through my music.

Behind the scenes, I’m also working on a larger project: gathering all my released and unreleased tracks into a full album. This collection will bring everything together — the songs that are already out, the ones currently being finalized, and the new pieces I’m shaping right now. My goal is to create a cohesive body of work that reflects the heart, struggles, and strength behind every lyric I’ve written.
